Many ask for help when faced with a decision whether it be at a perceived fork, a tee, or a dead end along one’s path. Consider the Law of the First Step. It is what launches our
creativity and innovative ideas into results and meaning in our lives and work. Effort produces outcomes, and outcomes produce realizations about the work, mission, untapped potential, and inspiration.
Nothing filled with purpose is a straight shot. Successful sailors learned to tack by turning their ships’ bow toward and through the wind so that the direction from which the wind blows changes from one side of the boat to the other. Being prepared to adjust allows progress in the desired direction.
No matter the form or size, we have spirit forces encouraging and assisting each one of us:
Becomes aware of choices and decide each subsequent step.
Takes the first step. Will this step be the right one? You won't know for sure until you start moving forward. Once started, all steps are a gift because each right or wrong step will provide knowledge and direction.
Hold yourself accountable, knowing that fearlessly tracking progress and missteps is the path to building success.
Attract like-minded people to personal and professional ventures and ideas.
Celebrate accomplishments in the form of appreciation.
