When a soul enters this world he or she must depend on someone to feed, clothe, protect and nurture the one delicate body that is allotted by their ancestors. A bold new adventure awaits that surpasses any ride available at the amusement park. Even though the language is loud at times, new behaviors are quickly formed to acquire food, entertainment, and devotion as demands are dramatically given. The giving of a smile, giggle or laugh is payment initially made in full when still adorable in stature. Maturity gives rise to physical changes and relationships. Rewards require greater expenditure of effort and encounters become reality data stored away as memories snippets to draw upon as required. Curiosity of what is just around the corner draws each toward new encounter.
As the time passes friends, family, coworkers, most often encourage behaviors to conform to the group norm and many may hear the words, why is it so hard for you to be like everyone else? Our soul, that part of us that observes quietly what we do, think, believe and feel speaks clearly to each of us “I am me!” This is where unconditional love, unending forgiveness, compassion, harmony, peace and joy reside. Our spiritual body is of the Infinite Spirit, here to experience this life and its lessons. Touch another’s spirit through a comforting word or thought, a heartfelt smile, or a gentle encouraging prayer and know it is so.
