First Declaration of Principles- We believe in Infinite Intelligence. (We believe in God.) Humans are made up of physical material, the body, that can be seen and touched that is abundant with intelligent energy at every level. And through our physical experiences perceptions are transmitted and recorded by our real self. "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them". (Genesis) Intangible aspects of that image which includes the soul, spirit-mind, intellect, will, love, life, emotions, conscience, truth, and so forth that contain all knowledge of the universe. These characteristics exist beyond the physical lifespan of the human body and are therefore eternal. The spirit-mind, soul, heart, conscience, and emotions -- make up our whole being.
The challenge for all of us is like driving a car with two steering wheels. The demands of the physical and the true nature of spirit may feel at odds at different times in our lives. When we maintain balance , grounding and feel whole, our life flows in harmony. When we hit a bump, we choose how to react and move forward with the lesson at hand. Some are tougher than others to dissect and examine. These challenges lead our thoughts to
where is God in all of this?
Ask yourself - How would I describe my parents, my family (tribe), my culture? Was it loving and caring, demanding cautious, present to your needs or maybe at odds to your own rhythms. What characteristics would you choose to describe yourself? Now describe the God energy you have come to know and communicate with. Are their similarities?
How has your image of God changed over your life periences? All life is from the same source which means we do not walk alone, that we all give and take from the same life pool, that we are responsible for co creating our realities through our perceptions and knowing that it is shared to all through the
web of life. We contribute to the whole through our every thought, prayer, response, decision (a lack of decision is a decision), and intention. I invite you to affirm: I am open to love and light. In all things, my living infinite spirit exists.
